PEPERO!
It's a pretzel stick coated with chocolate and toppings made by Lotte in Seoul, Korea. Last November 11, 2015, Pepero by Lotte celebrated its anniversary with us at Asia Pacific College (APC). November 11 was the Pepero Day at APC brought by Asia Pacific Junior Marketing Association (APJMA).
The celebration for Pepero Day was held at the APC Parking Lot last November 11, 2015. It was a one-day celebration full of fun booths by Lotte Philippines and game booths by APJMA. The game booths promoted local and Korean games which had boxes of Pepero as prizes.
Lotte Philippines set up a Design Your Own Pepero booth in which the students decorated their Pepero sticks with various toppings. Also, Lotte Philippines stood up a Photo Booth that students can enjoy with their friends or just by themselves. My friends and I had some free Pepero and some shots of photos at the Photo Booth. It was my first experience of photo booth, and I'm glad I had it with my friends.
My friends and I played different games such as Dart Balloons, Tic Tac Toe, Ring Bottles, Bowling, Tuho, and Kai Bai Bo. It was a fun and relaxing day because it was right after our 4-hour English Grammar and Composition class. It was just the right way to give our minds a rest after those hours of brain cracking and those two and a half days of school.
Aside from us students, there were visitors from high school institutions on that day. I hope they would find APC as a fun college institution for their senior high and/or college life. For me, APC is a fun and nice college institution. There may be tough times with regards to academics, but it's a nice stay here so far.
This Pepero Day is only one of the various events that is brought to us by the non-APCians and held here in APC. I know that APC have many more events in store for the students, and I hope that Lotte will hold Pepero Day with APC again.
