2nd Thought: Prologue to Jeanne D' Saint Rose

History, history, history! Everything has history. It can be the history of the Philippines, history of math, history of language,browser history, and many more. Even we have history, but I'm not referring to our history as the Lamarck's Theory of Evolution or the story of God creating humans. I'm talking about our past.


I am Jeanne, Jeanne D' Saint Rose! If Jeanne D' Arc means Joan of Arc, Jeanne D' Saint Rose is Jeanne of Saint Rose. Jeanne is my nickname pronounced as /je-an/ not the French pronunciation /jon/. Saint Rose is the hypothetical English translation of Santa Rosa which is the name of the city I live in. Yes, you read it right. I live in Santa Rosa -- Santa Rosa, Laguna. It's a city not far away from Makati. It will take you two to four hours of travel depending on the traffic.


I enjoy life through anime, manga, games and internet life. I have accounts other than my official Facebook account. These are where I meet and communicate with people of different races. I have no fear of my privacy being intruded because I hide my identity under a different name, and because I don't let any obvious connections between my accounts. This habit of mine helps me understand people more in terms of their culture, values and preferences. At least I'm one less person to those judgmental people.


I'm not studious. I usually sleep every time we have free time but since college is different, I hang out with my friends in my free time. I study lessons the night before the quizzes and tests. However, that routine changed. I study earlier on difficult subjects for both quizzes and tests. Procrastination, stress and loads of work are not new to me. They are usual things for me after graduating at Santa Rosa Science and Technology High School. My high school Alma Mater made me ready for them, rather, made me ready for college. Despite the hard times in student life, I don't forget having fun and taking things easy.


I live an average life, a life not so poor nor not so rich. I got my gadgets from my savings from my everyday allowance. It took me years of not eating morning recess and not giving in to my food cravings. Therefore, everything and anything that I buy from my savings are worth the effort. My cellphone's one of the things I bought from my savings, and now, it is my daily companion and partner like how important a laptop is to a businessman.

I believe that quality is all, not quantity. That is what I uphold in friendship, quality over quantity. If God gave me many friends who have good qualities, then I'm greatly blessed. I can say that I found many good friends, and they are from my school life and my internet life. The greatest friends I have are my close friends in high school, my close friends in college,and my prettiest wackiest best friend. Despite having other circle of friends, I still hold them dear. Despite some of them having changes in their attitude, I will never give up on them because they made my life livelier and wackier.


This concludes my introduction. This is not the old introduction which one states his/her bio-data. This will help you understand me better as a person in a deeper sense. Please don't hesitate to approach me and be friends because I'm willing to know more people and understand their perspectives. Beware of idiotic ideas, silly faces, and fluctuations of moods, okay?
