18th Thought: The Phantom of the Opera at Royal Albert Hall

Yet another day of having a change of course for the week! Another Friday of the term, December 4, 2015, arrived. That means another day of Film Showing in our EEP class!I thought we would be watching the second movie of Parasyte Live Action Movie. At the moment we stepped in the room, a vintage ambiance welcomed my senses. As usual, I hurried to get a seat from any of the first two rows and called Hanna over to seat near me. As the first scene unfolded which was an auction in the old times, Hanna became ecstatic exclaiming a set of "Oh my gosh!" for as many as I could remember. After some minutes, the title faded in:

17th Thought: Speak Sense Season 2

The APC Speaks in partnership with the APC Student Services (and the whole APC itself) held its second inter-high school public speaking competition namely Speak Sense Season 2. This competition was a morning event held last November 27, 2015, Friday at the APC Auditorium. From the background itself, Speak Sense Season 2 is a public speaking competition of students from the different high school institutions around Makati.

16th Thought: Seminar on Media Literacy

November 25, 2015, Wednesday, yet another day of classes... I was pretty much drowsy on that day. But who would have thought that all we got to do is attend a seminar and make a reaction paper on it (in GRAMCM) and a blog post about it (in EEP)? Now this is a change of course! (Of course in terms of daily life, not course as in college course lol)
So this seminar we attended is about Media Literacy with the theme "Mobilizing the Millennials as Socially Responsible Prosumers." This seminar is conducted in celebration of the fifth anniversary of The Rampage, the Asia Pacific College's (APC) official news magazine. It aims to develop sense of social responsibility among the attendees, and to create a discourse on media literacy among the APCians.

15th Thought: Plagiarism, an Act of Stealing

Every time our teachers or professors give us assignments, that deal with researching information, or maybe they assigned us to make a thesis, they always remind us to cite the sources where we got the information we used for such schoolwork. They would always say that we will commit plagiarism if we didn't cite them. We all know (or most of us know) that plagiarism is a form of cheating as defined by our school handbooks. But what is considered as plagiarism? How would we know if we committed plagiarism?
